Natural minerals are mined, then ground and processed to remove impurities, eventually becoming mineral-based cat litter. Mineral-based cat litter is divided into two types: mineral clay cat litter and crystal cat litter. Mineral clay cat litter has excellent water absorption and clumping properties, quickly absorbing urine and forming hard clumps. Once clumped, it does not easily disintegrate, and it is relatively inexpensive, making it one of the most common types of cat litter on the market. Crystal cat litter has strong water absorption but does not clump. After absorbing urine, the cat litter particles remain unchanged and can be reused. Both types of mineral cat litter effectively control odors, keeping the litter box area fresh.
